I keep receiving a message on my screen indicating the batteries in my HP wireless keyboard, model KG-0851, need to be changed. I install brand new (fully charged) batteries that are exactly the same as the old ones, but new batteries do not work. The keyboard will not accept any new batteries, despite them also being the correct alkaline AAA batteries. Yes, I do know how to correctly install AAA batteries!!
What's going on with this HP keyboard? How do I make it accept the new batteries? Pressing the Connect on the back of the keyboard button doesn't do anything.
I'm typing this before the old batteries go completely flat.
Batteries are AAA size, Alkaline, format E92, 1.5v.
Thanks.
