I welcome. Bought a set of the keyboard and a mouse of HP C2710 and it badly worked at once, the mouse and the keyboard did not work further 10 centimeters (~ 4 inches). A problem in the radio module. There was no time to go to service, and now found this set. Who knows what can be made with it?

Welcome to HP Support Community
Are you using fresh batteries in the Keyboard / Mouse?
Have you tried connecting the USB dongle to other USB ports?
Did you get a chance to try the Keyboard / Mouse with another computer to check the functionality?
If the issue persists with other computers, I suggest you contact our phone support for further support

yes
I have tried all these options and can say that the problem is exactly in the USB-dongle.
I'm having trouble following step 5 of your instructions. I don't have the option to choose a chat or get a phone number to call.
I only have the HP Support Community,
