HP Omni 100 5010uk all in one
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

IMG_0240.JPGHi

I have a screen problem on my HP Omni 100 all in one pc

The problem is there are diagonal creased lines running across the screen to the leftIMG_0180.JPG

The lines have no colour to them as they look creased like a piece of paper/fabric

on a black/dark background its fine (no lines). only on lighter colours

Any thoughts on what has caused this?

Any fixes that can calm it down a bit? as it does get annoying and after some time my eyes feel a bit funny.

Hi there @hemanpaul,

Welcome to the HP Support Forums! It is a great place to find the help you need, from other users, HP experts and other support personnel. I understand that you  are getting visible diagonal lines on your display. I am happy to help with this.

You could try using the  HP Support Assistant to see if there are any newer drivers available.
HP PCs - Using HP Support Assistant (Windows 10, 8, 7)
HP PCs - Troubleshooting HP Support Assistant (Windows 7)

Also, you could check your power connection and see if maybe there is a change if you use a different electrical outlet, or direct power connection, or even a different power adapter if you have one available.

Also you can try changing the screen resolution and see if it helps or not.

HP PCs and Monitors - Changing Display Settings, Background Image, Icons, and Screen Saver (Windows ...

Lastly try running the hardware tests for your system, as follows: HP Desktop PCs - Testing for Hardware Failures (Windows 7).  Depending on the result, a repair may be necessary.

Please let me know how that works for you, and if it does resolve your issue, please mark this post as a solution. Kudos would also be appreciated.
