HP Pavilion All in One PC
Microsoft Windows 8 (32-bit)
everytime I try to boot my pc the boot menu isn't showing the hard drive where windows is and sometimes I have to toy around with it to show up and everytime I try to boot it just says operating system not found and an error pops up saying
Your PC needs to be repaired

The Boot Configuration Data File dosent contain valid information for an operating system

File: \Boot\BCD
Error code: 0xc0000098

please help!

Thank you for posting on HP Forums,

The Riddle_Decipher is at your service.

 

As I Understand the Boot Configuration Data File isn't valid and you need help with the same,

Here's a related HP Forums post that seems to have helped many others: Click here

 

If the above doesn't work, the only other way is to reinstall the windows using the recovery media (Click here for details)

You may also run a hardware test on the Hard drive to ensure it isn't a hardware issue: Click here to know how.
