I'm trying to find out the detailed specs for my motherboard, like the type of PCI slots and the generation. So that I can find out what GPU are compatible. Model Number: dt300a-abm t440m

If your PC is the 500-061 desktop, then here is the link for the motherboard information:  http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Pavilion-500-Desktop-PC-series/5358992/model/5376114/document...

 

If that is NOT your model PC, then look for a sticker like one of those below and report back the product number:

Thank u for the timely response. But that's not it. I don't have a sticker like that on it. Is there anyways I can find that information on the system itself, through a command or something
