Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Computer does not start immediately, i must push the start button on & off many times 'til it starts

Hi kenmarnik

 

This sounds like a hardware or wiring problem.

 

Possible causes:

 

1. The power switch

2. Cable from switch to motherboard power header

3. Motherboard power switch pins on the power header

4. Power supply

 

Only a good tech in your locale can diagnose the problem unless you are familiar with working inside the chassis to determine the cause.

 

Eventually your PC will not be able to perform a cold start using the power switch.
