Hello@Peted1973,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums! It is a great place to find the help you need, from other users, HP experts, and other support personnel.
Need assistance in connecting the Lenovo notebook to HP all in one desktop. Did I get it right?
The HP all in one is a PC which can only give options to extend the display by connecting to an external monitor but cannot be used as the external monitor.
Hope this answers the question. Please let me know more.

Thank you for posting on HP Forums,
The Riddle_Decipher is at your service.
As I Understand you want to know about the windows desktop sharing,
To let you know the "Windows Desktop Sharing" is used by software developers to create applications that use multiple-party screen-sharing technology. Key scenarios include remote assistance, real-time collaboration and conferencing, and video communication. With Remote Desktop Services, a session is always created when a user connects remotely through Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP). With Windows Desktop Sharing, a local desktop can be transmitted over an RDP connection without creating an additional session.
you can utilize google search to download the application, however, HP Doesn't support this app and you'll need to contact Microsoft to avail support on the same.
Do you have any other queries?
Feel free to post your query for any other assistance as well,
It's been a pleasure interacting with you and I hope you have a good day ahead.
