Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post.
I see you are unable to play DVD on your computer. Happy to help.
May I know the troubleshooting steps tried?
Is the DVD being listed in Windows explorer or file explorer?
Which media player as you using to watch the DVD?
Have you tried any 3rd party media players like VLC?
Recommend you to check the disc for scratches, logging off the internet, disconnecting any external devices while playing the disc and check.
Open file explorer and check if the DVD is listed.

Also, make sure all the drivers and software are updated by using HP Support Assistant.
