HP p7-1206
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Computer went into sleep mode, stop recognizing mouse & monitor.. Blue like comes on  but nothing else happen. Have tried sugestions in forum but did not work. Even took it to have it checked out...one minute it's working the next it's sleep ....

I've never had this experence and when I call support all I get is someone trying to upsell me something I don't need or want  and wanting to charge for answering a question... Just give a solution for this, otherwise HP will be less one more customer...

Hi there @jaz54,

May the Forums be with you!  It is a great place to find the help you need, from other users, HP experts, and other support personnel.  I understand that you are having some issues with Sleep and Hibernate in Windows 10  I am happy to help with this.

I would recommend that you look through the following two documents: HP PCs - Sleep and Hibernate Issues (Windows 10, 😎HP Desktop PCs - Managing Power Options (Windows 10). They each have information that should be helpful. It is likely that one of the settings in your system may be powering down devices and they are not waking properly.

Please let me know whether that works for you, and if it does resolve your issue, please mark this post as a solution. Kudos would also be appreciated.
