A nine year old Vista machine would not be a viable choice for WIN 10.

This system is feedback driven thru Solution and Kudo flags. It's the only means of knowing if you have been served. Please click Accept as Solution, if your problem is solved. To say THANK YOU, press the "thumbs up symbol" to render a KUDO. You can render both Solution and KUDO..

If you could locate WIN 7 upgrade, that would be OK. But it's service life is until 04/2020.

I upgraded my m8100 years ago from Vista Ultimate to Windows 7 Ultimate.

The upper left corner states: Upgrade designed for Windows Vista. The center has Windows 7 Ultimate.
