Hello ayesha-zia786. I understand you're having some trouble getting your webcam to work with YouCam.
I recently made a post which covers the common solutions for when your notebook is not properly detecting a webcam. You should try the solutions offered there and let me know if they help. Here is a direct link.
I will keep an eye out for your next reply. I hope you have a great day!
Please click the white star under my name to give me Kudos as a way to say "Thanks!"

Hi:
First, install the chipset driver and reboot. That will install the SM BUs controller.
Then this graphics driver should work...
This driver should install the PCI Simple Comms Controller.

I'm Lamin
The problem of my pc, hp g42-376TX notebook, windows 8, screen goes off making the machine to heat up. Anytime this problem occurs it will prompt me that my display drivers have stopped working and it is recovering. Or sometimes some checks-like screen appearance and this makes to pc have ssome difficulties in booting, that's it takes time before it boots and even sometimes it doesn't. I came to the hp support forum and downloaded the following drivers.
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp50501-51000/sp50888.exe
http://downloadmirror.intel.com/22642/a08/winxp_145111.exe
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp53501-54000/sp53951.exe
After installing the chipset to my hp g42 notebook PC windows 8. I continued to install the next driver with the
File name:
winxp_145111.exe
Version:
14.51.11.5437 and I was told my computer does not meet the minimum requirement.
. Please what do I do? An agent help. Thanks

Hi:
This is a consumer to consumer forum. No agent representing HP will respond here.
HP employees participating in this forum are doing so voluntarily, and are only representing themselves as fellow consumers.
Please post the product number for your G42 notebook.
The product number can be found on the same sticker as the serial number.
Do not post the serial number, just the product number.
Then we will see what we can do to help you.

Hi:
Please post the hardware ID's for the
PCI Devices
Video controller (VGA Compatible)
The driver you need for the ethernet controller should be this one.
To find the hardware ID, you click on the device needing drivers and then click on the Detail tab.
Post the string of characters you see there for each device.
