Compaq dx7400
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi,

I have a Desctop HP dx7400 (FE411EA) and I would like to run a virtual machine.  When I try to run VM I get Error.

I tried to find VT-X option in Bios, but it is not there. How do I enable virtualization on my PC?

 

processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400

motherboard: MS-7352

Bios version: 1.14 09/03/2008

Hello DerekS.

 

Unfortunately, there are not bios settings to enable VT in that model, even though the cpu is capable.

I found this topic earliel, but I thought someone had found a solution, ex. BIOS change.
