When I try to get online this message often come up " Local area connection doesn't have a valid configuration." I contacted my internet company and they came and checked everything out on their end and I contacte my modum co. Arris, and all is ok with them . They think it is my computer not receiving IP address correctly. We have tried many thing to correct it but still get problems.

Hi,
To resolve this issue please try performing the steps below.
Method 1:
Try refreshing IP address and check whether it helps.
a) Click on start and type in cmd in search box, Right click on the command prompt click “Run as administrator”.
b) Type in ipconfig /release {Press Enter}
c) ipconfig /renew {Press Enter}
Method 2: Wired and wireless network connection problems in Windows
