Good morning,
I have a:
- Foxconn H-iG41-uATX Motherboard ,
- Power Supply 300W active PFC,
in my HP desktop PC - G5110it.
I have to change the power supply because I have a new graphics card (Radeon HD6870).
I have two new power supplies with greater electrical power:
CX600 V2 Corsair - 600W (24 pin)
http://www.corsair.com/en/power-supply-units/cx-series-psu/builder-series-cx600-v2-80plus-certified-...
and
POWER SUPPLY P4-500 - 500W - Big silence fan
(20+4 pin)
but the motherboard will not turn on.
Whynot turn on?
There is a solution to use the new power supply?
I thank you in advance.

Hi,
Like karlhungus, I have an HP m9600t and had the same problem as some others on this board in regards to upgrading/replacing the power supply. I bought a Radeon HD6850 Graphics Card and needed to upgrade the power supply. I tried the Corsair CX750 and it made the lights and fans blink on and off but would not start the computer. The truckee v1.03 motherboard did not like it at all. I then went to Fry's Electronics and bought a Corsair TX550M. This PSU did the same thing with the lights and fans on my computer. A tech at Fry's electronics store told me that any ATX from Corsair should work. I spoke with Corsair tech support and he said it was because my old power supply was an ATX 2.0 spec and that the Corsair PSU's are only backward compatible to ATX 2.1. HP support told me that there is no recommended replacement for my power supply unit and that they don't sell the original one anymore. She recommended putting the old graphics card in. I told her it failed and she said to buy another one just like it. Wow.
Thanks to the information on this board, I went back out and bought the Corsair HX650w, model number: CMPSU-650HX. This PSU is working perfectly so far in my m9600t with the Pegatron Truckee v1.03. Just wanted to say thanks for the help and to post another success story with the Corsair HX650w married to the HP Pavillion Elite m9600t Pegatron Truckee v1.03 motherboard.

Hi GMARC,
I would suggest trying the Corsair CX500 ($30 afer rebate) or CX600 ($60 after rebate). These Corsairs PSUs will fit properly and have sufficient power plus head room for future upgrades. I am using the Corsair HX 650. in my HP e9280t.
The Corsair CX500 is an excellent buy right now.
