Hello i need some help with my hp monitor2311x  monitor                                                                                                                              I want to give it a factory reset because the buttons aren't working and I want to turn the brightness down.Any ideas on how to do it? ,p.s I already tried holding the menu button for 10 seconds and it's still not working.

Buggles, welcome to the forum.

 

Here is what you should try: unplug the monitor’s power cord and hold down the monitor’s power button for 30-60 seconds. Plug the monitor back in and power it up.

I have tried the factory reset as suggested, pressed the on button and un-plugged the monitor for 30, 60, 60+ seconds. No luck.  Is there another way to reset it?
