HP 23 Envy AIO 23-c010xt
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Title says it all.

I had the dreaded bios corruption problem, which required remotely flashing the bios chip as per instructions on this forum here

The small issue now is that this bios flashing wipes the bios of all of the "System Ids" which prohibits the HP Recovery Disks from working.

Can anyone here provide the full compliment of System IDs to re-enter into the bios for HP 23 AIO model 23-c010xt ?

For example, my machine has no label that has information for FeatureByte.  And furthermore, even the other info in the bios screen regarding the "system Ids" are apparently not named the same, such as the fact that none of my stickers has "Build Id" etc.

So if anyone who has this EXACT same model, could you provide a screen shot of the System Ids or a text output of all the System Ids info so that I can re-enter it into the bios?  Apparently you need this info entered into the bios to get the recovery disks to work, otherwise I will have to buy a new Windows product key because the HD installation has a botched Win10 upgrade installation, is now corrupt and has to be reinstalled.

I should not have to buy a new license key because HP managed to have corrupt bios problems, doesn't put a Windows license product key sticker on its PC, and now hangs me out to dry.

So if any fellow user can supply this info, that would be awesome and THANK YOU immensely in advance.  I know how to enter it into the bios -- CTRL-A once into the bios.  I just need the correct info for each System ID entry.

Hi @rpesq

Welcome to the HP Forums!

It is a great way to engage, post questions and find resolutions by working with specialists in the HP community.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you want the system IDs to reenter in bios as they are missing after flashing the bios.

I’d love to help!

I recommend you to flash the bios again by following the instructions in the below article and the system IDs should come back after successful bios flash.

1) Bizarre and inaccurate reply,  since the recovery disks CANNOT RUN without the System IDs in the bios.  That is the WHOLE POINT of the question.  I have genuine HP factory recovery disks.  If I did not already have those, there would be no point in asking my question at all.

2) Reflashing the bios does NOTHING to enter the System IDs into the bios.  For example, how on earth would a generic bios file know the serial number of my PC?  That's just one example.

No offense, but you really have no clue about what I asked and therefore what would be a useful answer.
