Greetings,
Hoping for some insight with my PC. When the unit is powered on, it shows a blue screen with the HP logo and a message at the bottom of the screen saying to push esc to start system menu. It won't even post and won't allow me to access the system bios, no matter what key i press while booting. Hoping for some assitance, this unit has just expired warranty consideration. Thanks in advance.

Hello Mswen22780,
I understand you’re stating you all in one will not boot, is that correct? I will be happy to help you.
I would like you to do a hard reset first.
1. Remove all cables and connections from the computer including the power cord
2. Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds
3. Just reconnect the mouse, keyboard, and power only
Once done, when you turn the computer back on immediately start tapping the F2 key if successful it should lead you to a series of tests that it will run.
Please respond back if you are able to run the test and the results.
Thanks

@mswen22780,
When you push the ESC key on the startup, does it place you in the startup menu? The startup menu should look like the image below.
Please respond back at your earliest convenience.
Thanks

@Mswen22780,
I would like to try accessing safe mode if it's even possible.
1. Turn the computer on and tap the F8 key repeatedly
2. If successful it may lead you to an advanced options menu
3. If you see safe mode with networking select that option
If you are able to get to that point let me know if it loads you into safe mode. Everything will be enlarged and a little fuzzy, which is normal in that environment.
Please respond back at your earliest convenience.
Thanks

I would like you to reseat both the hard drive and the RAM from the backside of your all in one.
This document will show you how to access the hard drive, now when you get to the hard drive cage just remove the cage and reconnect it. (Do not remove the drive from the cage)
This document will show you how to reseat the RAM, you will simply take the RAM out and place it right back in place. Once done reconnect the back panel and connect your hook ups. (Try your best not to touch the black chips on the RAM boards)
Also rid yourself of any static electricity before starting both processes.
If you feel uneasy about doing this, you don’t have to.
Please respond back at your earliest convenience.
Thanks

@Mswen22780,
Have you been able to access any of the built in diagnostics?
Please respond back at your earliest convenience.
