I searched in file explorer for the mentioned file and it does not find.  However, up til the windows 10 upgrade I had use of recovery manager but now I don't.  Any suggestions as to why I can't find the file you so kindly told us about.  Thanks....

Did not work for me : "this program is for windows 7 and does not work on windows 8"

Hi,

I just upgraded my PC to Windows 10 (Home Edition) and wanted to create new recovery disks.

I downloaded and installed SP74124 and followed the suggestion above to find rebecca.exe. I noticed that I don't have the same path name, instead I have "C:\Program Files (x86)\Hewlett-Packard\Recovery" nor can I find the rebecca.exe file.

When I run the RecoveryMgr.exe application I receive a messages that the app is not trudted and has been blocked.

Any ideas what I might be doing wrong or missing?

Also can anyone advise if I create new recover disks with the HP Recovery Manager Tool, now that I have upgraded to Windows 10, will they automatically restore my machine to Windows 10 or back to the Windows 8 that it origionally came with?
