Microsoft Windows Server 2003 (64-bit)

I've installed HP System Management Homepage(x64) 7.2.5.3(30 Jan 2015) onto computer W Server 2003 64x

Run setup and enabled check to open port 2381

Running the software icon HP SMH I get page cannot be displayed. Local host port 2381 added to Trusted Sites in IE.

Firewall is not running on this computer.

When telnet port 2381 Failed Connect message

Netstat /a gives for port 2381 'Time_Wait', some other ports are Established or Listening

Can anyone advice in this?

Hi michfely,

The problem is probably the version of Internet Explorer running on the Win2K8/R2 systems.  SMH 7.6 ran fine after installing Firefox or Chrome. I did not test what version of IE was required.

Cheers!

CL
