HP Z620 Workstation
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Does any one knows if the HP Z620 WS can take the low voltage SK HYNIX 16GB 2Rx4 PC3L-12800R ECC  Ram Modules ?

I could only find this in the memory config PDF file from HP:

• 1.35V and 1.5V DIMMs are supported, but the
system will operate the DIMMs at 1.5V only.

but not sure if its OK as it never states explicitely PC3L at all  ( although these are indeed 1.35V) ?

thanks

People who "overclock" their computers often increase the voltage supplied to the RAM.

So, adding 11% to the voltage (going from 13.5 to 14.99) should not harm the RAM.

The extra voltage might possibly shorten the "lifetime" of the RAM.  Maybe.
