Do not do this suggestion. If you do going into run-msconfig-services, make sure that you click on the option in the bottom "hide all microsoft services". These services are needed to run the system and if you disable them you can cause issues. This is likely going to be a hardware issue with the monitor. If it is something that you can fix on your computer settings then it is a one off instance. The screen will likely go dark or blank no matter what you connect to the monitor.
