I just purchased an HP h8xt-1240 Windows 7 with a 3rd generation i7-3770 quad processor. When I looked at the configuration in the properties of the computer, it just says 3rd generation i7-3770. How can I tell if I have the quad processor? Thank you.

Here are the specs for the Intel® Core™ i7-3770 Processor. To verify that your system is quad core enabled, go to the Windows Device Manager and under "Processors" you should see 8 lines of "Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770 CPU @ 3.4GHz" or something similar. This indicates that your CPU has 4 cores and can run 8 threads.
