Is Tis capable of Burnning Dual Layer How can I find this out thanks

Hi,

 

Download Imgburn and use it to determine the capabilities of your optical drive.

Hi:

 

Normally if you look carefully at all the symbols on the face plate of the drive you will see on the DVD Multi icon. At the bottom of that, you should see a little R DL.

 

That means it will write Dual Layer.

Probably not.

 

But if you want to be more scientific about it, try Big Dave's suggestion and run Imageburn, or use the free Nero Info Tool at the link I provided below.

This handy tool is not a CD burning software package, but simply tells you about your DVD drive's capabilities along with a few other things, by clicking on each tab.

So where do i view that window in Imgburn...?

Insert a disk, click on the image to disk icon.  On the menu bar, go to Tools > Drive > Capabilities.  The "Drive" on the menu is greyed until you insert a disk.
