Hi,
Please explain in detail what changes you made in an attempt to change the boot logo.
HP did not post a clear CMOS procedure for your model PC. Review the below image. Unplug your PC, hold down the power button for 1 minute. Now open up your PC and move the jumper blocks over to the left per the image for 30 seconds and then move the jumper blocks back. Plug the PC back in and give it go. If you still get the eight (8) beeps then you could try a ROM image recovery.
Eight (8) beeps in an invalid ROM image. Review this HP posted article for trying a BIOS recovery.
You might try this HP tools software. Download the software to a different PC and create the USB 2 bootable tools flash drive. If you can get the flash drive to boot up then look for a firmware management selection. There is not any documentation available on how to use this function so you are on your own. HP Support might be able to assist you with a BIOS recovery and/or you might be faced with sending in your PC to an authorized HP repair facility to have the BIOS reflashed.

Hello,
I was trying to change the setting where, i could remove the HP logo and have the Windows 8.1 Logo, and i was changing settings and i think i changed fast boot, and now i cant get back into the bios because when i try to by pressing F10 the computer beeps 6 times and some times it beeps 8 times, and then the computer restarts, and nothing comes back up on the screen untill the login page, as if the computer does not know how to display the POST or boot logo anymore. I hope this helps.
I have tried a ROM image recovery, but the computer tries to boot to it and gives the same beeps.

Hello,
I would like to resolve this issue with out having to contact HP support as they will only say it needs sending in to have the bios reflashed, and i need my computer for my College work, So sending it anywhere is no option, i have alot of experience with computers and one reason why i need the computer for college is because i am taking BTEC Level 3 Information Technolagy. Would there be anyway i could reflash it my self?
