Hi there @Angilan

Welcome to the HP Support Forums! It is a great place to find the help you need, from other users, HP experts and other support personnel. I understand that you are having trouble enabling Legacy boot. I am happy to help with this.

Try toggling the safe Boot back on, save the setting and then toggle it back off. Then try enabling Legacy boot again.

If that makes no different try setting your BIOS to its factory defaults, restarting and going in again, and then try Enabling Legacy boot again.

Let me know if that works for you or not.

Hi, Thank you for your reply

I have tried many times but it dosen't work

My step is

1, set default setting

2, disable securty boot

3, restart , 4 digital code+enter

4,restart and back to boot menu

Try this. Immediately after powering on start tapping the Esc key. This should bring up a menu where F9 Boot Option is a choice. Tap F9. Use the arrow key to move down and highlight your USB. Tap Enter key.

You have to create a UEFI verifiable usb. Use Rufus. Change the partition scheme and system file type from MBR for BIOS or UEFI to GTP partition scheme for UEFI. Leave the file system and cluster size as the default and make sure you enter a volume label. Browse for the .iso image and hit start. Once it's finished, plug it into a port on the HP, power on, F9, select to boot from UEFI flash drive. Problem solved. You're welcome 🙂
