My internet works fine but for some reason when i try to play Destiny 2 or Rocket league my connection times out before i can play at all. Ive talked to my internet provider and they couldn't resolve my issue.

@okSupra, welcome to the forum.
It appears that you are not the only one who is having this problem with Destiny 2. Here is a page on Bungie Forums about the problem:

I believe there is a similat problem with Rocket League. You can run a search to see if you can find a solution for it.
Please click the Thumbs up + button if I have helped you and click Accept as Solution if your problem is solved.

Thank you for the additional information, @okSupra!
According to the System Requirements for Destiny 2 your computer should not have any problems. Here is a "Network Troubleshooting Guide" from Bungie's website. The only thing that I can add is, make certain that all of your drivers and sotware are up to date. If there are any patches for the games you should make certain they are installed, also.

ive read most of the stuff on bungies website about network stuff, ive tried port forwarding, ive tried turning off my firewalls, ive bypassed my wifi router. Ive also tried just using ethernet connection. I dont understand because ive played these games before on my computer they just randomly stopped connecting to game servers.

@okSupra, if the driver for your wireless adapter is up to date, I don't have any other suggestions. I have found when I have problems with one or two games and none others, there has been a change in the games themselves.
@ledzep1, he mentioned in his original post that his Internet provider couldn't solve his problem. Thanks for the suggestion.

I also found out that Fortnite wont work either. I just updated all my drivers earlier today and still didnt work. Ive also looked to see if my games were up to date and they were. I don't know what else to do.

Here is further information that I found: https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTechSupport/comments/79m3mh/for_anyone_having_problems_with_destiny_...
I suggest that you keep searching for solutions. As you can see, I ran a search for "Destiny 2 won't open" and got this response.
