I've installed all the drivers form official resourses (You Cam). And now I have error message all the time that camera is not detected and please turn it on.

I also checked device manager - web cam is not  reflected there as well. I even tried to use BIOS, but again there is no web cam there.. So the question is how to actually turn the web cam on in this case?

I would appreciate any useful assitance. Thanks in advance.

Well, vga will not support any webcam communication.
Don't you have a manual?
There must be a usb cable delivered with the monitor - connect monitor and pc with this.
Here's the manual too:

You installed YouCam but that is the software not necessarily the drivers.  Depending on the OS you need to download the drivers for the Monitor.

try this driver and see if it will work then:

That was the first driver  I installed trying to solve this problem. And it didn't help

Is the monitor connected to usb?
Have you used the usb-connection port - not the normal usb port of the monitor?

It's connected just by VGA cord. Should I try USB cable as well?

Unfortunately I don't have the manual, but thank youi for the link.

I will try to "play" with the USB cable.

Check page 6 - you have to use the port 7!

Check also chapter 5 and 6 to start using your webcam.

I assume I need to find the audio cable as well.. For now  just video is working.

HP Recommended
Yes - for sound (at monitor speakers) you have to connect audio as shown at page 6, too.
