Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Hello , I recently move to Windows 8.1 and as soon as I did this wireless adapter stopped working properly . Internet now works only if I am near the router , which is very weird because I didn't have this problem before  . 

I am not that much of a professional so the only way i was trying to fix it was to install the latest drivers from hp website. I am quite sure this is not a hardware problem because it worked perfectly fine for 6 months and the moment i changed the windows this started happening.

Hi:

 

Usually notebooks with the Broadcom wireless network adapter have that issue.

 

This is the latest W8.1 driver for the Broadcom wireless card, which normally resolves that problem.
