I am presently trying to use the keyboard and mouse on a laptop Elitebook 2570p. By the way, the first day i used it, it worked fine. next morinin it didnt work again. i inserted new batteries on both jeyboard and mouse. mouse works fine but keyboard refuses to work. work for a second and stops.

Hello Othniels,

You’re having a problem with the keyboard not working.

Go into device manager and see if the keyboard is listed, if it is, right click and uninstall the keyboard.

Restart the computer.

Here is a link to device manager.

Windows 7

Windows 8

There should also be a connect button on the bottom of the keyboard.

You might also want to try the keyboard on another computer to make sure that the keyboard is working correctly.

Clicking the White Kudos star on the left is a way to say Thanks!

Let me know how everything goes.

Have a good day.

Hi,

It still doesnot work.

If you get me correctly, the keyboard and mouse are wireless. i connect the usb receiver to the computer

the mouse connects even without pressing the little blue button underneth, but the keyboard doesnt connect.

after much efforts it try to connect for a second and then disconnects, meaning it responds to a key stroke and the next key stroke it does not respond.

Othniels,

If it was working fine at one time, you might try a System Restore. This will take the system back to when everything was working correctly, without affecting any of your files.

Here are the links for a System Restore.

Windows 7

Windows 8

Also if you’re able to, I’d recommend hooking the keyboard to another computer using your USB receiver just to make sure it’s not the keyboard.

Hallo,

i have about same problem. My PC is a HP-Envy 1301L, that includes a wireless keyboard KG-1061 and mouse MG-0982 kit.

I bought after a mouse Logitech Performance MX because i'a graphic and i need more buttons and function in the mouse.

Well, my problem is that every time i restart the PC the keyboard loose the functionality of volume and mute button and the suspension button. Also all the 2nd function (play-pause-ecc.).

To recover its function i have to go in the control panel->devices and printer and remove the keyboard then from the device management refresh by "detecting new devices" and wait the new kb installation.

This is so annoyng!

Did you can help me?
