Touchsmart 320 PC
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hey Ya'll. I am in desperate need of figuring out how to claibrat my monitor to show the best color quality possible. I am a photographer and need the colors to be more accurate on my desktop than they currently are. To give you an idea of what I mean I will explain it like this: Say I apply a preset that automatically increases the oranges on an image. Well, on my desktop the image appears perfect, even with the bumped up oranges. However, on a different computer or cell, the oranges appear to be way to increased and out of whack, causing my subjects to look like oompa loompas. Can anyone help me with calibrating my monitor, please?

Welcome to HP Support Forums. 🙂 I came across your post and would like to help.

I understand that you have an HP Touchsmart 320 PC and would like to know how to calibrate the monitor to show the best quality. You would like the colors to be more accurate hen they presently are.

I would like to know the following information to assist you better:

  • The exact product model no. This link will help you to find the model no: http://hp.care/2bygf7l.
  • Are yo using any specific application to edit the images? Have you tried using multiple applications to edit the images that suit your photography?

Meanwhile, I suggest you to review the steps as described in detail from this link: HP TouchSmart Desktop PCs - Calibrating the Screen (Windows 7)

You may use the HP calibration tool and also calibrate using Microsoft calibration tool and check for the results as described in the link above.

Hope you find this information useful. Please keep me posted for any further questions. Cheers! 🙂
