Microsoft Windows XP

Hi. I have a desktop with the motherboard d330 dt and i can not see the ethernet adapter in the device manager. I tried downloading drivers but nothing happend. The yellow and oragne leds on the ethernet adaptor doesn't lite. The cable is working fine (i tried it in another pc).

I also tried adding a new device but cannot find the ethernet adapter in the connected devices

That is a truly old motherboard. The NIC may no longer be fuctioning.

You can pick up a PCI network adapter at most second stores for perhaps $5-15.00.

It may be truly old but it is still working fine until recently that i changed the psu. I cannot understand who is it possible the whole mobo to work fine except the ethernet adaptor
