I have HP Pavilion G Series and when I turn on the wireless or plug Hardwire for Internet the system will restart. I have done a full factory reinstall and this does not help. I also Disabled system restart (f8) and the system continues to restart only after the wireless is turned on.

I also removed the wireless in device manager and let windows (Win7 Home) reinstall. Any Ideas to fix this problem? Please email me for suggestions

Hello soulseekier.  I understand you system restarts randomly.

I'd like you to check your system files.  Try the following.

  1. Click start, type "cmd," and press Enter.
  2. Type the "sfc /scannow" command and press Enter.
  3. Allow the process to complete.
  4. Post the result.

Have a great day!

Hello again soulseekier.

I'd like you to ensure that Windows is creating a dump file as per this post.  Then I'd like you to upload it to a site such as SendSpace and post the link here.

I'll keep an eye out.  Have a great day!

To answer your question I have waiting to see the next occurrence to repond with details.

Now the system is rebooting itself and nothing appears on the monitor.  This monitor is in working condition.  It's black and never gets to the point where icons appear on the main screen.  Any ideas?

 @Sbwoo,

Honestly there could be a variety of different things that could be causing this from, hardware,software possibly bad drivers.

When the issue happens do you notice any programs that happen to be open? Do you feel that it seems to always happen when the computer is being used for a certain thing, or is it just very sporadic?

Please respond back at your earliest convenience.

Thanks
