My less then one month old mouse just quit. Online comes on, but not sensor light.

My new HP Envy 34 mouse (less than a month old) just quit working.  New batteries made no difference.  Onlight comes on, but central light doesn't.  The keyboard then quit working too.  Plugged in a corded mouse and rebotted.  Keyboard is working, but mouse is dead.  I agree that the keyboard is terrible.  Too small and just not the quality you would expect with this high grade computer.  Mouse the same thing.
