I understand that Windows has changed your "wallpaper" to solid black.

It also has placed a message, about "not being genuine", in the bottom-right corner.

 

So, is your computer brand-new, and purchased directly from HP?

Or, was is purchased "used", from a private seller?

 

Manufacturer?

Model-number?

What Operating System was originally installed?  Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10 ?

Did you reinstall Windows?

What "installation media" did you use to reinstall?

Did you enter the 25-character product-key printed on the "Microsoft-decal" on the case of your computer?

Any other relevant details?

Hello, i bought this laptop with as a second used by a private seller. I bought it while it had a window 7 professional but later own took it to a retail engineer to change the window because it had actually started to disturb. It was then changed to window 7 ultimate with 64- bit. It  is now readind the window is not genuine. Please help me.

your computer was originally shipped with either Windows XP or Windows Vista, not Windows 7.

 

First, the person who sold it to you must have installed Windows 7 Professional, presumably using a properly-licensed copy of Windows, and "activated" it online, with some product-key.  That "pop-up" window, stating "not genuine" did not appear while running Windows 7 Professional.  Correct?

 

Did the seller include the "installation media" and the 25-character product-key?

Did the seller affix the "Microsoft decal" on the computer, showing the text "Windows 7 Professional" and the 25-character product-key on that decal?

 

Second, it seems that the "retail engineer" did not install a properly-licensed copy of Windows 7 Ultimate, and did not (or could not) "activate" that product-key.   Check with that person, to obtain the valid product-key for that software.

If he/she will not provide it, you should demand a refund for anything you paid for their dishonest work.

or:  Intel Celeron Processor (up to 2.0-GHz, 1-MB L2 cache)

 

Memory: DDR2 SDRAM, 667-MHz,8 two dual channel SODIMM memory slots, supports 512/1024/2048-MB, up to 4096-MB total

 

Hard drive(s): SATA 80/120/160-GB 5400 rpm 

 

Display: 15.4-inch diagonal WXGA (1280 x 800)

 

 

So, what can you do?

 

Given the "age" of your computer, HP probably has not tested your hardware for compatibility with Windows 10, even though it exceeds the minimum requirements for running Windows 10.

 

So, purchasing a retail copy of Windows 10 will be expensive, and you will need to "hope" that it runs properly.

 

Microsoft's support for Windows Vista ends on April 11, 2017 -- next week.

So, reinstalling Windows Vista is not recommended.

 

If you still have the original disk-drive inside the computer, it is quite "ancient".

It would be best to replace it, before it completely fails.  Again, expensive.

 

Bottom line: use the computer "as is", or invest in a new laptop, or switch to some other supported Operating System, such as the UBUNTU variant of Linux.
