I purchased my computer from HP directly with MSOffice installed aprroximately 5-7 years ago. Due to some issues, I need to reinstall MSOffice, but don't have the product key or back up disks. How can I get the product key? Thank you for your help!

If Microsoft Office still is installed, there are free programs that you may download to "poke" into your computer, to extract the current product-key. Do a Google-search for 'office keyfinder' to get details, or just see: www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder/ which works for me.
Once you have your product-key, see:
https://products.office.com/en-ca/download-back-up-restore-microsoft-office-products
to download the version of Office that matches that product-key.

Thank you for your answer.
I have reformatted the computer (back to Windows 8), and it doesn't seem to have MSOffice installed, even though I purchased the computer with it installed. I downloaded the MagicalJellyBean program, but it did not find Office. Any other thoughts?
Thank you again!

Yes, after reformatting, that "MJB" program will not be able to "poke" into the Windows Registry.
Google-search for "LibreOffice" -- it is free software that can read/update/write Word/Excel/PowerPoint documents.
