my computer is a little slow in gaming and always has been, iIknow its a little old but it still runs good and fast other than gaming... the windows rating thing the graphics is the lowest at 3.9 and the rest are up over 6-7.9 so i'm looking into upgrading video/graphics card to start with i'm sure will help a lot. I just want to make sure what i buy is compatible so what do look for to know?

i put that in on the hp site and it showed a list of upgrade things but i wasnt sure if thats just what hp made from the factory with this or what and i'm thinking aftermarket graphics card that i can find on amazon or best buy somewhere wouldnt be on that list.

Hi Jeff,
The p6733w is 6+ years old so it might not make sense ($$) to start upgrading the PC. The power supply would also have to be replaced along with finding a legacy based graphics card that meets your expectations. For the most part, legacy based graphics cards are no longer being manufactured and those that are available generally are not being sold in retail stores.
Power supply $$
SSD $$
graphics card $$
processor upgrade $$
While all of the above upgrades can be done, you will still end up with the base 6+ year old technology.

Big Dave has already provided comments regarding upgrades.
The HP Pavilion p6000 series has a nice case, and can be used with a new mATX motherboard (2016/2017). The power supply may require an upgrade, depending on part selection.
There are 2 major manufacturers of Graphics Processing Units (GPUs)
used on Graphics Add-On cards. AMD (formerly ATI Technologies before 2006) and nVidia.
The gaming community follows varies GPUs and upgrades.
