At this point this is what I would do:
1. Make a backup of all my important files to an external hard drive.
2. Format my internal hard drive and re-install Windows from scratch or using the HP recovery medium.
3. Before trying the latest driver, see if you can access the network.
I don't think it is a hardware or BIOS issue due to the fact that other components of the card are working correctly. Since reloading the driver doesn't seem to work and the card shows as having the same MAC address re-installing Windows would be my next step if I was experiencing the problem. If the problem persists, it may be a problem with the motherboard/BIOS.
If you are OK with using WiFi you can continue to use that as well.

Hello Travis_c.
Thank you for all the help.I will have to stop here.
I formatted my hard drive and reinstalled windows but the problem is till not solved.For now i will keep on using the wireless connection hopping in the future HP can come up with a BIOS upgrade or may be reinstalling the same BIOS.
