Hi, Abhay:

I'm going to need the hardware ID from that device since there can be one of several model wireless cards installed in your notebook.

Please click on the network controller in the device manager and read the info at the link below on how to find the hardware ID for it.

http://www.devicedriverfinder.com/blog/device-drivers/how-to-check-the-hardware-id-for-a-windows-dev...

Once you provide that, I will post the link to the driver you need for it.

Hi

I've recently got an HP Pavillion Elite 180uk desktop PC and tried installing a copy of Windows 7 Professional onto it. Everything seemed to install fine apart from one device in the Device Manager showing as 'PCI Simple Communications Controller'.

I've install all the drivers listed on the HP site for the PC and tried the various solutions listed on these forms. No joy so far. Was wondering if anyone could help.

The Hardware ID for the missing device is as follows:

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3B64&SUBSYS_2A9C103C&REV_06
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3B64&SUBSYS_2A9C103C
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3B64&CC_078000
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3B64&CC_0780

Thanks in advance

Hello I got problem with PCI Simple Communications Controller Driver, when I add my microphone it shows it's unpluged and I can't update driver it shows:

1.Windows was unable to install your PCI Communications Controller.

2.Windows could not find driver software for your device.

3.If you know the manufacturer of your device, you can visit the website and check the support section for driver software.

Here's the hardware ID's for my PCI Simple Communications Controller Driver.

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_29C4&SUBSYS_5044107B&REV_02
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_29C4&SUBSYS_5044107B
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_29C4&CC_078000
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_29C4&CC_0780

Please help me, microphone is so important for me.

Hi:

I believe this is the driver you need for the hardware ID of PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_29C4&SUBSYS_5044107B&REV_02.

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=32...

I do not believe it will do anything to help the microphone to work however.
