Thanks Paul,

 

I'll just take the plunge, it's also worth noting there is a 2GB version (VTX3D AMD Radeon HD 6450 2Gb Silent Graphics Card ) for the same price.

 

However be warned some have stated the performance is less than that of modern onboard graphic cards

Just bear in mind the more memory on the card, normally the more power it consumes.

 

I do not know how much more, unfortunately.
