I have just done a fresh install of windows on this machine and am wanting to upgrade teh RAM to 4GB using 2x 2GB sticks.
The sticks are Kingston KVR13N9S6/2 which appear to fit the specs required by the motherboard (H-IG41-uATX).
however, when I install them the POST fails and I get a short beep followed by a long beep.
Can anyone help> Either confirming that the RAM is or isn't ok, or exactly what the error beeps mean...

@WH6,
RAM modules are specific. These are guaranteed to work.
Using the Kingston locator, it failed to produce a match.

@WH6,
The beeps mean non-compatable. Not sure how you came up with that exact Kingston number?

Now I know better.
Presumably I can check any manufacturer's website for compatible RAM as you did....
