Thanks.

Looks like you can get it in the USA for $100.00 ( 2 x 8 GB).

I think the HP 8200 with a SSD on sata3 and 32 GB rocks.

i am using the machine as vMware-host.

I'm thinking that is my next upgrade--an Intel SATA III SSD.

Maybe for Christmas.  :generic:

For Australian buyers, I just bought this and it's working well in mine - http://www.skycomp.com.au/item/Corsair-8GB--1x8GB--DDR3-1333MHz-Unbuffered-CL-9-DIMM-Memory-1-5V-for...

I've now got 12GB of RAM running in my machine - the 8GB I bought and installed today + the 2 x 2GB that it came with.

Bit more info - I've now installed a 2nd 8 GB Corsair RAM stick and it's all working with 8GB + 8GB + 2B + 2GB = 20GB.

The Corsair XMS3 works a treat!
I have 32GB installed in the CMT now, VSphere is very happy.

I also tested the RAM in the SFF (WIn7) and it also works perfectly in that box.

Thanks for pointing out the BIOS update earlier too, it has since been updated again.

You will always get a warning in the BIOS POST when the ammount of RAM has changed from the previous boot, this is normal.

i have a elite 8200 sff and i got 4 modules like this KVR1333D3D4R9S/8G  is almost equal in specs the only difference is Ecc    non no Ecc  is compatible with Ecc modules?

HP Recommended

I don't think ECC memory modules will work in the 8200.

I thought the specs call for all non-ecc memory.
