EliteDesk 705 SFF
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Recent purchase came with Win10 64.  We need it to be Win7 32... however can we downgrade the system?

Hi:

If your PC is the 705 G3, HP only supports that model for 64 bit operating systems.

Some of the HP W7 64 bit drivers may also contain 32 bit files but if they don't, you would have to find the 32 bit drivers directly from the component manufacturer's websites if they are available there.

Can you please explain why you have this "need".

Note that Microsoft will stop supporting Windows 7 after April 2020 -- only 3 years away.

At that time, you will need to install Windows 10.

Can your current "need" be satisfied by using VMWARE (or something like it) to create a "virtual-machine" running "Win7 32" under control of the "base" Windows 10 operating system?
