I want to install a vesa adapter to my HP 2311x monitor and don't know how to completely remove the stand and hinge from the back. Most of the stand is easily removed by pressing a small round button but the hinge still remains.

Hi,
Looks like it's not designed for VESA mount, only for stand. But, please try DIY as mentioned on the following post:

Thanks for the reply.
The installation instructions are on the original ebay listing but i didin't see them at first. There is a small plastic shroud that hides the screws which has to be prized off with you fingers.
