Product: HP Pavilion23 all-in-one

 I am locked out of my computer.  After trying to reset password several times, I called Microsoft Technical Support and was told the problem could only be fixed through HP.  Per tech, I need to know how to manually configure the synchronization settings of my account with my Windows computer so that I can access it right away using my working Microsoft account.  I'm not even sure what this means.

 

I haven't found anything on-line to address this problem and am hoping someone out there has the answer.

Hi,

 

From my understanding you wish to bypass your Windows logon (using Microsoft account) and access to your machine directly. Please confirm this.

I'm not sure...

 

If that would get me into my computer, that would be great.  Do you know how I do this?

 

I did reset my password through Microsoft several times but my computer kept saying the new passwords were not recognized and tellling me to reset at Microsoft!  Going in circles...

Hi,

 

Many thanks for posting back. Are you sure you use Microsoft account ? Please note: password is case sensitive please check the keyboard.

 

The problem is you have to get in first before you can setup to bypass the password when logon.
