Dear all,

i have the following situation with ThinPro 5:

During startup of the ThinClient a PopUp Window appears for about 3-5 seconds  (which is indicating that it is started via HP ThinPro Update) showing: "Waiting for network".

At the bottom of the Popup is a button "Settings" where a normal user is able to click on and is then able to change the network setting (IP, GW, Netmask, 802.1x-Settings, ...everything!!!).

If the user doesn´t click on this button, the Popup is closed and the connection window (in my case for Citrix) appears. From this point the user has no access to the system.

My Problem are the 3 to 5 seconds the PopUp appears. During this time the user has admin permissions. The changes which are made are persistant after a reboot.

Is there any way to disable this "Waiting for network" PopUp? (I disabled the Autoupdate already...)

Thanks in advance,

Daniel
