Hey guys,
I have had my TouchSmart for about 2 years, and it's been near a year that my touch input hasn't been working, but since I wasn't really using it, I never followed up until last week. But I was pretty upset when I realized I had a 2 year warranty which was just expired on 02/02/14. I have tried all be basic things that has been suggested on this site or any other sites, such as running Windows update (and yes I installed the optional updates as well). I have also checked and updated all the drivers, and at this point is running out of options. I have a bit of IT experience so I think I know what I'm doing but I'm running out of ideas. 😞 Any suggesstions?

Thank you for help in advance

I noticed an error last night that lasted until this morning. My HP Touchsmart 610 touch screen quit working. I checked device drivers and a USB controller error apparently prevented the touch screen from working. I rebooted the machine about five times before the error went away and the touch screen works again. This computer is from 2011 and runs Windows 10 Pro.
