Hi @PJ320,

Thanks for visiting the HP community and posting your query here. Good day. 🙂 I understand that you are looking for assistance to unlock the wireless settings of the printer so that you could use it again on the network. It will be a delight to assist you. 🙂

Brilliant effort and superb diagnosis of the issue before posting. Kudos to you on that score.  I am amazed at your technical expertise. 🙂

We greatly value your relationship with HP. You are a valued HP customer and we appreciate you greatly for doing business with HP. I take it as a privilege to share this platform with you. 🙂

First off, for better clarity and to assist you better I would require more information regarding this.

  • Did this happen after you changed networks or the router of the home network?
  • Did you try to restore the network defaults of the printer?
  • When configuring your printer to the Wifi network do you get any error messages?

For starters, please try to restore the printer’s network defaults from this user manual link: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03682000

Please refer page no: 136 and chapter 8 for steps on how to do this.

Once you do it, try connecting to the network and check if the wifi network settings are unlocked.

If this does not work, I will send you a private message to perform a semi-full reset of the printer to factory settings that will definitely do the trick for you. Please keep looking for private messages on HP forums.

Don’t respond to the private message as the message box is not monitored.

It will unlock the printer and you should be able to reconnect it to the wireless network again.

I will also include a link on how to setup the printer on the wireless network also. Link: http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Officejet-7610-Wide-Format-e-All-in-One-series/5153788/model/...

Hope this helps. Let me know how this goes. I hope the issue gets resolved without hassles and the unit works great. I'm always there to assist you. Please reach out anytime. 🙂

To simply say thanks, please click the "Thumbs Up" button to give me a Kudos to appreciate my efforts to help.

If this helps, please mark this as “Accepted Solution” as it will help several others with the same issue to get it resolved without hassles.

Take care now and have a splendid week ahead. 🙂
