If I was offered a chance to "restart" as a three-year-old, I might take it.
I would Definitely take the restart as a three year old! lol
I am on another computer and still can't access the drivers Link, not the Forum Thread, but just the Driver Link in the Answer.

What error-message do you get when you try?
Or, try: http://hp.care/2qlVkph
which is a BIT.LY "URL-shortener" to the HP page.

The posting that you referenced pointed to a web-server that was available in 2011, but seemingly is not currently available.
Given that it was posted in 2011, the posting could have applied to Windows Vista or Windows 7, but not Windows 8 nor Windows 10.

I may give that Support Assistant a shot!
I wonder if I should start a new Thread for this question from one of my earlier posts? If not would you advise me here?:
" Original NVIDIA Graphics Driver: Installed this one but Graphics look worse now? "
I would like to know how to go back to the Windows Installed Nvidia Driver, it worked better than the one at the HP Driver page for this computer, I wonder why. Also, there was another Nvidia Driver waiting in windows Updates.
I know when changing AMD Graphics Drivers, the Official AMD's need to be uninstalled, reboot then install new ones. I've never done Nvidia, and not sure if I can just Uninstall them and the Windows one will take over after a Reboot, or can I just Rollback without Uninstall of the Current Nvidia driver and reboot?
Thanks, pcpunk

For the "best" image, check the "optimal" resolution of your video screen, and make sure that your graphics adapter is using that resolution, before trying the following.
It seems like you are on the right track:
* rollback to the previous driver, and check for "optimal" resolution;
* run Windows Update, to get an updated driver, and check for "optimal" resolution;
* reinstall the NVIDIA software, and check for "optimal" resolution.
Tell us how it goes.

1. Resolution was correct, the same on both 1920x1080 (Recommended).
2. I played around with some of the Nvidia Control Panel Settings to no avail.
3. Ended up Rolling Back the Driver. Now the Nvidia Control Panel does not work, but don't know if it worked before, with the MS Installed Driver, you know what I mean?
a. Is it a Driver were talking about here or is it some kind of Graphics Software Suite?
b. I see in the Programs and Features (after rolling back) it went from 1.5 to 1.4, but the actual Driver went to a Higher version? lol...what the heck? The MS Driver was the newer one, but in "Programs and Features" it reverted?
4. I don't reallly need the Nvidia Control Panel, but am very curious why this happened and if I could have avoided it?
5. I rebooted after the rollback, and now don't think it changed for the better? which is okay really, but it did look better in the begining.
Thanks again for assisting me, pcpunk

Thanks for the post.
I understand that you are looking to speed up the startup time on your computer.
Not to worry, I will be glad to help.
Kudos to you for trying a lot of troubleshooting steps on your own.
Have you used HP Support Assistant?
Recommend you run HP Support Assistant to make sure all the drivers are updated on your computer. Click here. Only updating BIOS would not help.
Run an extensive test on your computer. Click here.
Disable any startup items that you do not use on startup, using the task manager.
For other troubleshooting steps, please refer to this HP Article for assistance.
Let me know how it goes.
Disclaimer: HP Doesn't recommend any upgrade/downgrade of any hardware parts or software that is bundled with the product. It may affect the manufacturer's warranty and performance. You can change the configuration at your own risk.
Am I incorrect in thinking most of these tests are for UEFI Systems?
Thanks for you help, I am giving the Support Assistant a go, hope it don't try to get all my personal info and bog down my system!
