Forum,

I just attempted a Windows 10 update on my HP Envy 23.  The files were downloaded but the installation failed.

Anyone else seen this error?

Hi there DSF-22,

Welcome to the HP Support Forums! It is a great place to find the help you need, from other users, HP experts and other support personnel. I understand that you are looking for help with an error code while trying to update to Windows 10. I am happy to help with this.

I found the following page on the Microsoft Support Forums:

windows 10 Code 8007139F error when updating - answers.microsoft.com

There are a few suggestions on what to try with that error on the forum thread, but if you are still having trouble, I would suggest contacting Microsoft's support directly.

Please let me know how that works for you, and if it does resolve your issue, please mark this post as a solution. Kudos would also be appreciated.
