Same exact issues and same trial and errors. Except I can get my screen back by pullin the RAM out and reinserting.  How ever will not get past the blue screen.

Ok, I have gotten out of the black screen to a point to where it is workable. After reading page after page of  random info on the WDF_Violation, I assumed the PC was booting only without a display. So, I just turned it off and back on and hit a key, unsure if it was 4, F4, F11 or Esc, and It came back up to the blue screen and reboot loop. I apologize for the elementary solution, I'm an amateur computer geek, but it worked on an HP Envy 20. Unfortuntunate for me I was unable to figure out a fix beyond that before I got frustrated and Factory Reset it. At least it's not a brick.

Question, do you have the wireless mouse and keyboard?

HP Recommended
Yes, I have a wireless keyboard and mouse.

On mine so far I dont see any response from keyboard or mouse.  Where is HP in all this mess???

Exactally! Where is HP? I would suggest no one ever purchase HP products. If you currently own an HP....good luck. They are not compatible with windows and they show no interest in doing so.

There are plenty of HP experts monitoring this board, they need to step up and address this issue.

They need to provide a workable solution without having to send the unit in for repair to a shop. It's impossible to believe this issue can't be addressed at home with proper instructions, perhaps they need to get with MS and find out how to remedy this.

WDF?? Where are the HP monitors!? No resolution to this yet? I feel bad for all of you who still have this issue. I came home today to find out my Envy 1414 is doing the same thing. Guess I'm not getting an answer any time soon! I'll be heading out tomorrow to buy another if I can't get it fixed tonight...by another I do not mean an HP either! "Knock, knock" "who's there?" "HP support" "HP support who?" "HP support nobody!"

Not sure if this is a HP issue as it appears to be a Windows 10 issue. I updated my Microsoft Office suite today and noticed the original settings disappeared and desktop shortcuts no longer worked so I contacted Microsoft chat for assistance.  They spent over 2 hours remotely messing with my desktop.

I shut down the desktop after they finished and restarted it and suddenly I got the rotating blue screen with the Microsoft promise to restart and fix it.  Just kept recycling so I shut it down with the power button.  Next time I started it, I got a black screen and my cooling system started racing rediculously fast.

I have been trying all day and even created a Windows 10 usb and DVD boot disk from Microsoft but neither does anything.  I see the hard drive light come on on the front panel but nothing else except a very loud fan.  I tried tapping F12 and got two options for boot sequences but neither was of any use.  Tried tapping F2 and got the system test screen.  Tested everything and everything tested OK.  Even my wireless mouse and keyboard worked in this state. I exited that and now all I get is a black screen and very noisy fan.

HP should have some pull with Microsoft to come up with a solution for this problem.  When I researched it online, it seems it is a major problem for Windows 10 users and with Microsoft's big push to force 10 onto us they should be doing something to fix the problem.  Sorry I don't have any solution to help you.

I have the same problem on my HP Pavilion23, I cannot enter into the BIOS because the keyboard is not working. What should I do? Is an all-in-one, and the USB keyboard and mouse is not working.

Can somebody help me?
